A Kleen type of Christmas

I'm going to attempt to post some pictures from the Theisen Christmas and from our small Kleen family Christmas. As with everyone else, the weather was nasty and we were concerned that Jacki wouldn't make it home. Angela had come home the Sunday before Christmas and Jacki was to come home on Wednesday. The weather forced her to stay in Omaha but early Thursday morning (8:00am is early for Miss Jacki) I called Jacki and said that if she left then, she would be able to make it home. Luckily, she listened to me and headed out. Tom decided to see what the Interstate looked like and ended up waiting for Jacki in Blencoe, Iowa then followed her home. We had a pretty quiet Christmas Eve deciding to go to Mass at 4:30 then home to Chicken Tortellini soup and garlic bread. It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. Christmas morning started for me at 8:00 to get the Carmel French Toast casserole baking in the oven. The girls got up around 9:00 and it took little time to open gifts. Toby got a new brush and rope. He was very excited! The rest of the morning was spent trying to decide if we were going to go to Jessica's. Finally after calling Marilyn 2ce and Jessica 2ce I made the decision to stay home. This was not a popular decision by the girls so we headed out and that the Lord made it o.k. It was wonderful spending a few hours with Jessica, Kevin and the kids; and Marilyn & Rod and kids. Unfortunately, the weather kept worsening so we left around 2:30 with many prayers we would make it up our hill. Guess he was listening and answered our prayers! Hope everyone had a great time at Christmas! Enjoy the pics.
